  2. This video is called, Make money and spend it God's way. http://freehovind.com/watch-2347991568878362758 Don't jump to any conclusions based on the title. There are some TREMENDOUS ideas that would apply to work as well as school. I learned a lot when I watched the video and applied what I learned at work. The people above me (supervision and such) even noticed a change! In case you do not want to, or don't have time to watch it, here is one of the basic ideas behind it: 4 Types of Workers #1 Sees a job and does it. This kind of worker always becomes a boss or business owner and makes big bucks. The best workers do a job swiftly, cheerfully, humbly, and thoroughly. They are usually very happy and fulfilled in life. “Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.” “Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.” Prov. 20:11; 24:27 #2 Asks what job to do next. This kind of worker is rare, but is never out of work. The boss loves to have some of these people working for him. #3 Must be asked to do a job. This kind of worker is the most common. He never excels in the job market and usually gripes about being overlooked when promotions are made. Some of these employees will work cheerfully (Type A) and some not cheerfully (Type B). #4 Must be found and asked to do a job. This kind of worker gets minimum wage and never holds a job long. He is unhappy in life but cannot figure out why. “How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?” “The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.” Prov. 6:9; 13:4 Observations: If you are always being told what to do, you are not a #1 or #2 worker! The #3 and #4 workers often worsen with age. Each group can be further divided into subcategories, based on the person’s ability and knowledge of the job. Some are eager to work but do not know what to do. God wants all of His children, to the best of their ability, to develop the talents He has given them.
  3. excellent answer Bag. just what i needed to know.
  4. Desire to learn, respectful of themselves and their environment, curiousity, ability to follow directions as well as work independently
  5. A good student - either really wants to learn the material, or recognizes that he or she has to even though it isn't interesting. - reads the instructions and asks the teacher for clarification when necessary -isn't afraid to question what the teacher says or does (politely) -does the necessary work! -has time-management skills and is able to prioritize A poor student -makes excuses all the time -doesn't take responsibility for his or her learning (unaware of available resources, blames others for poor performance) -asks other students for information instead of the teacher -allows his or her dislike of the teacher/material to get in the way of the learning process -doesn't organize the material (loose sheets, no binder, doesn't take notes, etc)
  6. Successful traits: students that "want" to learn, try their best in school no matter how difficult or how hard, respecting other pupils and teachers, asking questions, turning work in on time, arrive to class on time, be prepared with material and also prepared to participate in class discussions. Lastly, come to class with a good attitude ready to learn.
