- no, not me
- Placebo happiness? Yes.
- I would not say I have found happiness in my faith (buddhism) because happiness is only transitory but I have found contentment.
- yes definitly in faith. people need God to help them in their lives and things like shopping and driving fast is only short term happiness. i say, pray to God and ask him for help in being happy and in every aspect of your life.the feeling is lifelong and long term.
- Sure. People sometimes find a lifetime of happiness in faith. For many people it is religious faith. IE: 'my life sucks, but I've got a friend in Jesus' For some it is the simple faith that 'things always turn out for the best'. For some, it is faith in the people with whom they work or live. For example in combat, soldiers often have faith in their comrades in arms. (IE: A Band of Brothers). In sports people often have faith in their teammates.
- If you took every material thing you owned out of your life, every car, every piece of clothing, all your jewelry, EVERYTHING would you be happy? After all of that is gone all you have is your family, your friends, you beliefs and values and that should make you happy Because in an instant your material status can disappear. You shouldn’t base your life around material objects at that point is when you start losing your basics, your family, friends, beliefs and values.
- My faith teaches me many things that lead to my happiness. One of the great secrets of happiness is something you don't have to have faith to live by. You must learn to be content with what one has and not always be looking at others thinking they have life better. Possessions don't bring happiness! The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. Be careful what you hope for you may get it. The Serenity Pray God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. - the hapiness that you can find in faith cannot be measured. Material things aren't enough and faith also isn't enough : we need both but somethimes it's ifficult to find an equilibrium.
- Many people have known happiness but didn't know it, when they had it. The first rule for happiness is, avoid too lengthy mediations, on the past. Doing what you like is freedom, liking what you do is happiness. I believe that certain people do find a great deal of happiness in faith.
- yes, faith is necessary for happiness. without faith in something no one can find happiness. lasting happiness comes from faith in something higher than material objects, people or places. that can be the Almighty God, whatever name one wants to call God, it doesn't matter because there is only one Supreme Being. God is never changing and The eternal Truth. God would be meaningless otherwise .. One's faith in the unchanging and eternal supreme being is the source of all happiness. lecture over!!! tx BE HAPPY!!!
- Yes, i believe that as long as we have faith, we can be relatively happy. Faith gives us something to hope for and believe in and even if life gets tough at times, the faith can help us through the bad times and allow us to smile again. Things like shopping and money do make us happy for a short time, but if we keep the faith, the happiness should be more steady...
- i,m happy and i have faith
