How do I replace the generic yahoo "gray/white happy face" with a picture or avatar?

I already made an avatar and uploaded a few pictures onto my profile (where they DO show up when I "add" them), but when I ask/answer questions my picture is still the generic yahoo gray face thing!

1. wow something i actually can answer this is rare I'm guessing from the grey smiley nobody's told you how to yett.. :D 1. click on "my profile" in the right hand corner 2. choose edit my info. 3. then there will come up three options with little picture ( you know for those of us who get a bit confounded) and you can pick to use your "profile picture (which I'm guessing is your actual photo) or an avatar or have no picture and you click one and click next +++ there's all different options there too, like privacy.
