How do you rate success? What makes a person a successful person?

Do you equate success with a persons financial assets? What is your idea of a successful person ? I'm interested in knowing how do you think of success, and what makes a person successful. Does a being a billionaire regardless as to how you came about your money mean you are successful? Did you think Mother Theresa was successful? Do you wish you were Donald Trump? Can a Mother with 6 children who have all been a contribution to society be considered a successful person? I would love to hear your ideas on what you think makes a successful person.

1. being happy, if you aren't then why would you even want money or stuff.
2. succes to me is getting what you wanted. if you wanted to be a billionair and you made it then your succsuful.
3. I think being successful or not can't really be decided by the society around you, it has to be decided by you. Some people WOULD want to be Donald Trump. Those people think money equals success. But there's people like me, too, who never want to be super rich or famous, and whose idea of being successful is to have a functional family that live by good standards. I think personally that a person is successful if that person is happy.

In my opinion i wouldn't want to be Donald trump or any other famous person.although i do have a dream of becoming an actor and witting movie scripts but being successful means living life comfortably. You have a degree or two,children if u want any,not struggling,have everything you need plus things you want,extra money on the side to do things and treat yourself nice treats.
5. To me success is being happy with who you are and what you have done. Anything past that is just gravy. I was once shown in a group how too many people put things in the way of being happy, like having to have this or that and it finally made sense to be happy first.

To answer this question many factors for rating success, to me I can say a successful person is the one who if financial stable i.e has permanent assets, respects God and this should be the first contribution because if you listenand respect the word of God you will not have time for planing negatively because you know all your plans are covered under God and ddefinitelyGod will bless you. - ASuccessfulperson is also one whose marriage is good here if one has already has married and produced children, paid ddrawerthen family committed to God then its outcome is happiness which leads to more success. -Working hard but not working hard without a plan can make one successful. set your your goals, plan well and do the right thing is all measurement of success. Having many friends with good understanding can also make one successful.
7. a successful person for me is a happy person, we all see success in different ways but in the end we all want to be happy, i think if you life a happy live you are successful, you can be a billionaire but life a totally lonesome and mean less life, i think success lives in the happiness
