guys would you find it creepy if a girl you havent talked to wished you happy birthday on facebook?

okay so, i requested this guy on myspace that goes to my school months ago, he asked who i was, i told him we went to the same school and he accepted me. later i asked him if he had seen me and he said im sure i have seen you around. i also recently requested him on facebook and he accepted without asking me who i was. (so maybe he remembers me?) his birthday is coming up next week, should i just wish him happy birthday on his wall on facebook? or would he be creeped out?
