Should I wish my boyfriend happy birthday even though I'm still mad at him?

Should I call my boyfriend and wish him Happy Birthday even though I'm mad at him? I canceled my weekend plans with him last week because I was upset and wanted to be alone. When I called him yesterday, asking him when he was free for dinner (to talk about our issues), he mentioned not his birthday, but having lunch a few days later instead. So should I bother wishing him a happy birthday today anyway?

9. Yes, you definitely should. It may be awkward because you seem to have tension between the two of you, but it is his birthday. If you were mad at eath other and it was your birthday wouldn't you expect him to call you? If you don't he may feel like you don't care about him. And you would feel that way if the situation is reversed. Just cal him and very sweetly say that you just called to wish him a happy birthday. Just wishing him a happy birthday isn't talking about your problems, and since you are going to be talking about them in few days anyway, not calling him for his birthday may be added in that and it could end up in a big fight as opposed to a talk to figure out what is going on in your minds. Trust me, if you do not call him, it could come back to bite you. Just my opinion. Good luck!!!
