How do I write "Happy Birthday" in German and Russian?
My friend's birthday is coming up and he studies English, Russian and German so I figured I'd write Happy Birthday in those 3 languages on his card. Obviously, the English isn't a problem but how do you write "Happy Birthday" in German and Russian? Please don't give me any insults in hope that I'll include them in the card! Thanks!

- German - Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag Literally: Hearty congratulation to the birthday - Alles Gute zum Geburtstag Literally: Everything good to the birthday (or the short form "Alles Gute") When I translate "Happy Birthday", it's "Glücklicher Geburtstag". No one says so though. But no one would ever say "Everything good", would they? =P
- In german: 1. Zum Geburtstag viel glück 2. Alles gute zum geburtstag 3. Herzlichen glückwunsch zum geburtstag those are three ways to say it

- I don't speak Russian, but in German you can say: "Alles Gute zum Geburtstag" "Zum Geburtstag viel Glück" "Alles Gute zum Purtzeltag"
