Successfully asking, what are the major traits of most successful people?
Are they a combination of things: spiritual, basic principals, etc....?

- i would say the big one is ... they are successful .. i dont think all times theres a reason i think some are just lucky .. i guess they believe that, they dare to ..
- They are experiencing internal joy of the heart, as if already being in heaven while on earth. No tragedy can bring them down.
- Confidence, ambition, hard-working...
- if i had any of them i would tell you. the closest i come are a few of the most successful traits of a con artist (runs in the family), but i have this nasty honest streak that tends to keep me from even capitalizing on those too much.
- I've noticed that most? All successful people "use'' other people under them like employees and or friends to achieve their goals,,and the underlings never realize it until it's to late!! THEY ARE USERS...People are Tools to be used and had..all at the same time,,
- They have to be: 1. Self absorbed 2. Instinctively but shrewdly intelligent 3. Possess a kind of tunnel vision as it concerns what they want (myopic) 4. Charismatic enough to convince others to buy what they are selling 5. Possess a talent for reading future trends 6. Have the ability to be at the right place at the right time with people who have money to invest 7. Have the ability to recognize and utilize other talented people with the skills they themselves do not have 8. A certain kind of lack...in compassion, in empathy and ammoral 9. Certain political connections 10. Pure luck. All of the above.
- Persistence. "Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts." -Calvin Coolidge Willingness to take (calculated) risks. "We have nothing to fear but fear itself." -FDR Willingness to think. "Most people would rather die than think: many do." -Bertrand Russell Openmindedness. Necessary for the acceptance of new ideas. Humility. One cannot learn who thinks she knows everything. One cannot relate to others properly with a distorted view of herself. Energy. Rationality, and the ability to resist the urge to conform and the pressure of the majority. "You are neither right nor wrong because people agree or disagree with you. You are right because your facts are right and your reasoning is right." -Ben Graham ((((Radio J))))
- They are willing to work hard to reach their goals, by any means necessary, and they have the ability to overcome adversity.
- A holiday house on the beach is a reasonable preliminary indication.
- They have a plan, they stick to the plan, and hey work tirelessly to achieve the goals set forth in the plan.
- Assertiveness, not aggressiveness *unless it's military or something with the same mindset. then aggressiveness comes in handy, especially if you are a female. Listeners Clear and concise in their requests>>>as the military puts it "keep it simple stupid ...KISS" Prompt, and stays til work is done. Focused on the situation Organized. concern for your subordinates Being charismatic to get others to listen to you and do as you request. I don't think spirituality has anything to do with being a great leader. I scored off of the leadership exams and never used spirituality while leading. Always got it done, on time, and my subs respected me, because I respected them.
- Of the very successful people I have known, there have been some things in common - Hard working, persistent, lucky, charming, and not a complete idiot. You've got to be able to convince people you're a good bet and get them to work with you (charm), you've got to be willing to do the crappy part of the job and not just the nice, cushy part. You have to actually be able to do the things you set out to do, know what you aren't capable of doing, and hire the people to do the things you can't (hire people smarter than yourself). You also have to be willing to fail over and over again and never give up. I know several people who have lost all their money in one venture and within a few years were right back on their feet again in something else. And then, luck always helps.
