Oh that's nasty. Sounds like a rant to me. Answer, who says their lack of success is blamed on big government or evil liberals? Maybe you're secretly thinking that because its true that government is too big and liberals are, in fact, evil.
In a fired up speech to the lively crowd, Governor Perry spoke about Texas' balanced budget, our 9+ billion dollar Rainy Day fund surplus, our predictable regulatory environment, our accountable public school system, and our successful tort reform. The Governor also explained that Texas, unlike so many states now facing big budget deficits, actually**** cut taxes**** in this national recession. Because they're to blame. They started this economic crisis with their protection of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac so they could squeeze out a few more dollars for Frank, Dodd, and our apologist in Thief! I can't take a shit without the federal government sticking its nose into the bathroom and telling me how many gallons I must have to flush the toilet.

Because they were not all true conservatives with backbone to tell the truth. Frankly, the last thing this country wants now is someone telling the truth.
As a conservative, I blame the current situation on ignorant voters and liberal politicians who are smart enough to realize all they have to do is pander to those ignorant voters to gain their votes. It's called dumbing down, and liberal politicians make brilliant use of that tactic.
The Republican Party have prided themselves as being about Money. They are party of ultra rich, and those that wannabe. If you listen to their rhetoric they tell you its all about them, they fear what can be taken from them, what the country must do for them, and how the government can't interfere with their personal wants regardless who else it affects. You have only to listen. What they sell is that it is okay that the rich get it all because the rest of us will be grateful for their table scraps. The more decadent they are allowed to become the better the table scraps. That is the foundation of their Economic platform. What is disturbing is that they have become mean, hateful, divisive, and proud of it. They spew venom at not just people that don't agree with them but anybody that would dare question them. When you have that mind set it is hard to look in the mirror, and even harder to accept that you could be wrong. Sarah Palin declared that real Americans come from small towns and everybody else don't matter. The biggest flaw of the Republican Party is that they are plagued with paradoxes and apparently many among them don't have the intellect to see that. Let's look at some of them. Abortion is murder but Capitol Punishment is not. Don't dare stop life when it is a mass of cells but it is okay to snuff out a nineteen year old man. More importantly, women have no right to choose what they do with their bodies but nobody has the right to tell a man how to make money regardless how harmful what he is doing is to those around him. My favorite is the government should spare no expense to stop Abortion but not spend a penny for health care or education for those children once they are born. Regulation is bad but we need more prisons to instill more law and order. Free market is the way to go, unless it goes so far that fraud is rampant than the government has to do something. Government is too big but we need a military big and powerful enough to take on Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, North Korea, and Mexican drug gangs. I can believe that these people can't connect a powerful military is supported by a big government. From their point of view it has to be government's fault, oh... that's right, they were the government weren't they?
