The economy was good, the middle class was growing, there was money to spend, the war was being forgotten, the entertainment industry were in full bloom, there was still a certain amount of naivety, there were exciting things happening like the beginning of the space program..... life was good.
  4. lol, depends on who you were then. If you were black & trying to sit at a lunch counter, those sure weren't 'happy days'! Come to think of it...I don't recall seeing too many black folks on that TV show by the same name!..
