Where can I find free marriage records online?

Can someone tell me where I can find marriage records online for free? I am skeptical about using my credit card online to pay for those services. Free websites please!

1. depends on what state u are looking for. sometimes the individual state hv thm 4 free.
2. These records are free if you go to the court house. They are public records. Online, not free.
3. Are you talking about a service that coincides with a person's ancestry ? Or are you talking about your own personal marriage record ? You can go to the town (or city) hall of the town you were married in, and be able to get a copy of the record there. Of course,there is a small fee, but they accept cash if you don't have a credit card. If you're looking up some ancestral records, you need to write letters to towns (or cities) where you know they have lived, requesting a copy of the record. Better yet, telephone them and send a personal check or money order.
