Would a marriage certificate still show up in county records if the marriage had been annuled?
I am dating a guy who I suspect is still married when he'd told me that the marriage was annulled. I checked the state records for where he was married, and the marriage certificate still shows up, but I can't find anything relating to divorce and there is no annullment section. Would the certificate still show up if he'd had the marriage annulled?

- yes as well as the annulment
- I was in this situation once. When a marriage is annulled it's like it never happened. He's lying to you. Unless it was recently annulled.
- i would imagine it would show up if the marriage shows up anullment i thought meant the marriage basically didnt exist it sounds like ur first instinct is correct and he is still married 2 me! i would ask him 4 the paper work b4 i went any farther w/him!
- You may have to search the court system to find out about the annulment. Sometimes people don't know to report it to the town where the certificate was filed. The court usually only processes the judgment of the annulment without notifying the town where the certificate was filed.
- Yes it will and so would the annullment. Obviously he is still married.
- Yes it will..it doesn't make it disappear..there will still be a paper trail.
- Does the easter bunny exist if you don't see it?
