Happy songs, quotes, or Bible verses...know any good ones?

I'm making a "happy jar" for a friend of mine...she's one of those people that life just really doesn't go the way she wishes it did...and she's very easily disappointed or upset...so the point of this is to fill a jar with a bunch of inspirational quotes and things to make her feel better. We're 15, but because we go to different schools, we don't see each other too often...so I also want some of them to remind her how much I care about her...it would be great if someone knew a song that would be good for something like this...where i can just write down the title of the song and "listen to this =]" to go in the jar.... encouraging/ inspirational Bible verses, quotes or any other ideas are welcome!

I think what you're doing is a really nice idea :) I have this little book which is similar, i'm writing in quotes, parts of songs that i like - so when life gets tough i can look back over them :) My favourite quote of all time is: "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today" "Never give up on something that once made you smile" :) Sorry, i keep thinking of more! There's this amazing song called Jeanette, by Chase Coy - and the lyrics are about friendship, i think you should give it a listen.
