how to make heart symbol & happy face symbol in laptop?

Hi, I have hangout place in internet...when im chatting there i want to make a heart symbol & a happy face symbol...im asking my friends there if they know how to make heart & happy face symbol they said they just copy & paste, the others said i can do it by myself. Now if you know how to make heart & happy face symbols, PLEASE TELL ME & THANK YOU.

2. Go to google, type IMAGES, go to the google images site, type heart, or whatever you need, look for your stuff among a zillion pictures, right click on the pic you like , save to your Pc, copy and paste it anytime.
3. ☺ = <alt> 1 ☻ = <alt> 2 ♥ = <alt> 3 Not all places take ascii symbols but try and type <alt>1 for a white happy face and a <alt> 3 for a black heart.
