What is the gender of the popular "Happy Bunny" character...?

"Happy Bunny" seems to appear in all different shades of color (white, Blue, Yellow, Pink, etc.) so I can't figure out if Happy Bunny is supposed to be a boy or a girl! Help?

1. I don't know. I always thought it was a boy.
2. Chances are, a girl. It's directed towards girls, so... And when I was younger, I had a book about Happy Bunny. She had a boyfriend. And I don't think there's anything about her being gay, so...
3. there could be several happy bunnies. Some of them are male, some female.... ...or they could be trannie-bunnies.
4. My opinion/theory is that happy bunny is a whole race of bunnies that are relatively evil. probly all hemaphrodites cuz they are pretty hard to identify... maybe they have no gender at all considering the fact that they never wear any clothes but you don't see anything!!
5. i've seen a talking happy bunny in a store and it's voice was a guy so i think its a boy
