There are times that things can happen even to the best of us, in those times we might need a hand for a short time to get us back on our feet. But generations of help? NO.

11. It happens as we speak. The more taxes the government imposes the more attractive the dodges become. Because our politicians are rich themselves they will always include loopholes. Just look at Teddy Kennedy. He loves taxes yet pays very little himself. All his money is in trusts & foundations so he dodges the death taxes he loves to push for you and me. No one can say the wealthy don't pay their "fair share" unless their "fair share" is everything. The top 50% of earners in the country pay about 96% of all TAXES. That means about 50% pay virtually nothing. What little they do pay comes back to them in EITC or other welfare types of payments under the guise of tax "refunds". Question:::::: How can someone get a "REFUND" when they don't pay anything to begin with?????
12. first define have-nots. second define successful. I work and have worked my entire life. I have a husband, two grown children and three grand-kids. I pay taxes, some of which I get back. As my dad always said it is a forced savings plan. A few years ago my salary and my husband's barely made it from paycheck to paycheck. Since I was retired early (downsized) from my(20 yrs) employment at the bank and am now employed as a greeter by Wal-Mart part time at 9 bucks an hour. Now we borrow from next weeks payday just to pay last months bills. Am I a havenot ?
13. Yes, if we don't stop the practice of paying for the babies woman can not afford, then soon we will be out numbered and there will not be enough tax payers to support them. Any woman under 17 that has a baby, then her parents should be responsible for them. The tax payers should not be force to support more than one child if the woman that can not afford them keeps having them. If is different if a married person looses a spouse and need support of their family, but for a couple not to marry and have children just so she will qualify foe welfare, then NO, let the father of the child support them.
