Should I wish happy birthday to my ex?

We had been together for four years. But now I am not sure if we are still together or not. He just eventually stopped calling about a month ago. Today is his birthday. Should I send him an email wishing happy birthday, or it will sound too pathetic?

14. No, no, by all means, send an email! Even if you both know that your relationship is falling, that doesn't mean that you can't be friends. If you're still interested, a tiny little thing to say at the end would be in the closing. Say "love from your girlfriend" or whatever you guys call each other. if you've gotten over him, just say "from your friend". Sending him an email may also tell him that there are no hard feelings between the two of you. Good luck with your relationship!
