Success Happy

Mitt Romney is a successful business man. Would he be a good candidate for President?

Public Comments

  1. Apparently not, because he LOST. Lol.
  2. What do you mean Governor: Mark Sanford would be a better choice or should I say a more entertaining choice.
  3. I think a lot of people voted for Schwarzenegger because they saw him as a successful business man............That's not working out so well. So No!
  4. Well if he knows about economics yes he would. Our current administration is bankrupting our country with his policies.
  5. maybe
  6. I believe somebody who has such an influence on a nation's commercial and economic sectors should have previous experience of managing people and a proven track record of maximising profit and/or creating/running a successful business.
  7. Think he do decent job as president and would vote for him in 2012 if Obama gets too spend happy. Still, 2012 is far off and know Obama has a lot of Clinton goons that will teach him the fine art of triangulation. Economy is the factor that will help or hurt Romney.
  8. He may well be the NEXT president. ONE TERM for obama. ONE.
  9. I would like Mitt a lot more if he distanced himself from the GOP
  10. No. He supports too much of the bush obama policy of big government and war. Despite medias infatuation with him, endless interviews and favorable commentary, Romney was rejected this past election, routinely getting 10% of the support. Politicians job isn't spending money. So being a business mean has no value in politics. The nature of government spending is, and can ONLY be, wasteful and expanding. There is no such thing as effecient spending in washington. The debt will always expand, illusionary games with the deficit will always be played. Politicians are supposed to protect rights, not treat americans as some sort of production line or slave labor in a cotton field.
  11. Actually, I don't think so. I have to look into it more, but his health care plan in Mass involved hidden taxes. I am not interested in swapping one liar for another. Either he is honest about how he goes about it, or we never have the discussion.
  12. Republicans are scared to death of non-Christians, so that would be a big fat no.
  13. I believe he would be but since he is a mormon, most christians wont vote for him.
  14. Yes he is and he was, McCain beat him out, but I think Mitt was a better choice
