Is it illegal for a company to not pay you for start up training if you are not successful?
I am currently employed with an airline doing paid training for a month. To get the job I need to pass all of my exams & practical training, if not, no job. I've heard rumours within that if you aren't successful you don't get paid for the training. I don't want to go asking just yet. Is this legal? Are they allowed to do this?

- Depends on which country and state, and on what terms you were asked to do the training. You should have been given a copy of an employee handbook or agreement. Read it through, and if necessary, show it to a legal advisor.
