How to have a successful farm on farmville?

I want my farm to be a beastly money making machine. Tips please? thank you.

1. Plow as much land as you can and make a lot of money before you start to buy a lot of buildings. And don't waste your money on animals... have your neighbors send you what you need. It's free for them to do that. Good luck! P.S. Farm town is better, and more interactive, in case you haven't tried that yet.

3. plow as much land as possible then during the day plant strawberries (four hours) or raspberries (two hours) then, by the time you go to bed have your whole farm cleared of anything planted then plant your whole farm with rice (12 hours) and then when you wake up it will all be ready for you to harvest
4. Everyone else here have given good answers but also make sure you buy lots of trees. You only have to pay for them once and after that they are just giving you money.
