Is the Obama Administration correct in saying that Obama has Ended the Recession? Happy days, eh?

Now Obama will be able to give us all that Free Stuff and Hand-Outs that He promised us during the Campaign. "Everything is coming up Roses, for you and for me". How cool is that?

6. I'm retired and the news is on in my house all the time AND I read news online all the time - I haven't heard the Obama administration say the recession has ended.

However people are losing jobs and more jobs are not being created to replace the jobs lost..... I didn't vote for Obama thanks but I prefer to work for my things.
8. Yep. GDP is growing now. That defines the end of a recession. Now it will take time for unemployment to get down, but the economy is off the ledge that Bush had us on. A year ago, we were facing absolute disaster, but thru the actions of the govt (Bush, Obama, Congress all played a role) it avoided collapse. I couldnt be happier to have a competent guy like Obama in charge.

15. Our economy has stopped shrinking, but we have a long way to go. If Obama is serious about increasing the economy he will stop the job killing ideas like cap & trade and focus on creating incentives for companies to expand.
16. I've got news for all of you Obama yes idiots. The recession/depression hasn't hit hard yet but it's coming and soon. Seems that Larry Summers says that it's over and all of you pontiffs for Obama are happy but yet you ignore all other White House economist who say it's not over. What you are is gullible and are being lead down the primrose path and for that I am happy for you.
