How can you bring about happiness in your life and make a clear path to prosperity?

Ibn al-Munkader ( R ) quoted the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h. to have said: One of the best deeds is to bring about happiness unto the believers; through settling their debts, fulfilling needs for them and averting adversities from them. (Reporting by al- Bayhaqi) Is also a disagreement with someone, also part of settling your debts?
