How do I attract more attention and bidders to my products on Ebay?

I have read a book about ebay and followed all the advice in the book. I learned a lot out of the book and thought that doing what the book said to do would help me get some bids. However, I have some things on ebay that have been there for several days. One thing (Norton Antivirus) sold. But the person who bought it was a cheep skate and only bid my min amount. Now that lady hasn't paid and she bought it Three days ago. I can't send it till I get paid. Now I have some books that I got at the book store on the bargain shelf for about Five bucks each. The cover price of these books is $25-$30. I put them on for between $13 and 25 bucks each. $25 is the buy now price. If I charge any less than that, I will not make any money on the books and I will get screwed. I charge 13 dollars, because that gives me $5 profit and Three dollars to cover Ebay fees. What should I start selling if books and antivirus programs are not working. Some of the books are on for a second listing. I thought I could supplement my income on Ebay, but it is not working and I don't have any money to invest into buying any thing big to sell. I have also put Three Xbox games on there and they are not selling either. I only paid Two dollars for them and I am trying to get about $14 for them. WTF? What am I doing wrong? Like I say, I can't charge any less. I have got NO BIDS at all on any thing else, except for the Antivirus. The other things I have on there are for a much lower price than any one will pay in the store and they are very attractive products, no body has even looked at them. Not even one click on them. Not even when I listed them all for a penny starting bid w/ a reserve price for $13. I live in Orlando, FL so I have thought about selling Disney products via drop shipping. But is that as successful as they say it can be?

1. It could just be that what you are offering is not what people want. Or the market is saturated with the same products. I always do a search on what I intend to sell and see what sort of prices they go for and how well they sell, research is the key. Also have plenty of photos of the product, just embed the code for the photos in the description so you don't have to pay the extra fees for more photos. Also if you have just started selling people might be wary due to the low rating you have. I never buy from someone with a low rating.
