When will some U.S.A. Citizens realized that nothing the government creates is free..?

It is our TAX DOLLARS...which pay for EVERY FAILED or successful (military only) program. When will some of us get that this money does not COME from a MAGIC Pony with a glittered mane. Most of us who make more than a dollar annually GIVE back to our community, our FRIENDS, our FAMILIES, our local CHAPTERS, and our STATE PROGRAMS. You see we don't NEED the Government to MAKE US. We DON'T need a MANDATE.

1. Most of what the government does is waste. Obam even points to the extreme waste to produce savings for health care. If government doesn't waste then how can they use it for savings? Happycat. What about the water in CA they shut off to save some stupid little fish?
2. When they start paying taxes, or realizes they got no real freedoms left. Then if its not too late we have a little revolution... and throw the IRS into the harbor cause thanks to them we can't afford real tea anymore.
3. So the only government program that has EVER succeeded is the military? Tell that to the entire population of California. Almost every drop of water they drink comes from a federal project. Tell that to every college student who takes out a student loan. Tell that to every single person who drives on an interstate highway. Tell that to every victim of a federal crime who has seen his or her perpetrator go to federal prison. Tell that to anyone who has been rescued by the Coast Guard. Tell that to anyone receiving social security benefits.

8. As soon as they make a decent paycheck and realize that 30% of it is taken out by the government, and then STILL have to pay at the end of the year because of your tax bracket.
9. The citizens whom you're referring to don't pay taxes. Therefore, it IS free to them.

12. The issue you bring up and the fixed pie fallacy appear to be the 2 most common fallacies that many people use in economics/finance... it is sad... There is no such thing as free, and there is no "fixed pie" that can be redistributed. Labor = wealth, unless there is government intervention, or other form of criminal coercion. (The monopolies are because of lobbyists, government bureaucrats, and laws that allow it. eg. no interstate commerce for healthcare, not allowing doctors to charge their own monthly payment plans for services, ...). Great question.
13. Haha, silly :P Government has distorted the view of things being free. It is pretty much a euphemism in every context for something being taken away from one place to provide for another. Sure, they control the money that is printed... It still isn't the government's money. Government distributes money, it doesn't own it. And right now they are shadowing this fact from the people it works for.
