What do women look for in men?

Some say the man must be successful & have a great drive for moving ahead in life. While the same woman would look for affection elsewhere if her man turned into a workaholic or paid attention only to his career / passion. The same trouble arises the other way , when a man gives attention to his woman, she thinks the man doesn't have anything better to do. I have seen girls dumping their men (including me) on real absurd grounds. Somethings i just fail to understand what works for them! inputs please... Fidelity, honesty and love is assumed to be there

Romance is nice to throw in but certainly not a deal breaker I want someone with a sense of humor and not serious all the time. I want someone who is NOT married to their job. (money is not everything afterall) and most important...love I want someone who loves me and I love in return

  11. The answers will be as individual as the woman answering. I don't look for any men. I have the best one out there for me. I will honestly say, I don't like the guys that check you out. They go off the list of possibilities right away. I just think they are usually creepy. My husbands better qualities are his loyalty, his sense of humor, his smarts, his determination, his values (they -mostly- aline with mine) his handsome face, his friendship...There's more but that's a start.

  13. I look for stability, and you're right a drive/passion for something. A belief in something more than himself. Understanding that there is more to like than money... respect, faith.... Truth of the matter - no one will ever be happy with the on they are with unless they learn to accept them for who they are. We will always want something else, because the grass is greener on the otherside!
  14. It's hard to speak for all women because you have the ones out there who don't know what they want. They'll get a good man and dump him. Then you have a women like me who is respectful but always seem to attract jerks. But I would prefer the nice guy who is caring, loving, faithful, affectionate and has a job to support himself.

  17. You have asked a very good question and one that is very simple to answer. Allow me to answer in this way;women today are far different than they were just a few short years ago. From bra burning to adapting that mental attitude of male competition,"I can do anything you can do." Women,,,,,,(not all might I add) but for the most part, threw away the frills n lace of ladyhood. It's hard to find a dainty lady anymore, they are so brow beaten with he'women and tough dudlettes that they don't even know how to carry thenselves as ladies. However,,,,,,,,,,,guys are'nt off the hook here. Men have been so abusive,controlling and just plain jack asses that women had to take a stand somewhere to stop this madness and I am all for it. Again however,,,,,there ARE men and women out there that know how to be led by thier hearts which abolishes all this confusion. Have you thought about what you are shopping for in a woman? And,,,,are you the kind of man that deserves a good hearted woman who would just love to make life wonderful for you?
