1. I think thoughtful, compassionate, kind and confident : ) Oh and ambition is good too : D
2. The biggest one is Justice. Leaders should be just. Then put your subordinates ahead of you. You are the captain of the ship. It's your responsibility to get everyone safely home. If the ship sinks, you should sink with it.
3. Masculine physicality: good height, robust build, dominant face. You don't need all three, but need at least one to be seen as a potential leader of people, especially other men. You can't be small and weedy looking.
