Success Happy

Will republican candidates now vow to repeal health care or to reform it and pass something better?

Which tactic do you think would be more successful?

  1. I would definitely run on that issue but as long as Obama is in office that will be difficult to do without a super-majority..
  2. Everyone saw how they chose the status quo over Americans, as this bill gets more and more improved and implemented Americans will turn their anger against the Republicans and they will be exposed for the corporate whores they are.
  3. They were in power a long time and did nothing what makes you think if they repeal this bill that they will do something better
  4. What will happen is that the current bill will be declared unconstitutional.
  5. Repeal probably. This bill has pissed off the American people to the point where just the mention of "health care reform" is going to be a political no no for the next decade.
  6. They would need to overcome a veto to repeal it, not likely. Even if they try to impeach Obama, Biden takes over and most republicans hate him more than Obama. They could take it to court, which they are doing. But social security and medicare went to the supreme court and won. So don't expect anything there. They could help pass some new provisions and reforms to it, that I know the Dems would agree on with Repulbican help. For example, removing abortions from all insurnce company policies that take subsidies in the bill. That would pass a leal suit and while there are not enough dems to do it wihout republicans there are enough if they work together. They could also put back in the interstate exchange the republicans want. And they could remove the Corn Husker kickback they all seem to hate.
