How can I find the marriage records of deceased family without having to search 68,000+ Ancestry records?
There has to be a more direct way to access this type of information.

- Use their names? Ancestry has an advanced search that lets you specify a person and a spouse. http://www.ancestry.com/search/ Click on "Advanced Search", in small letters at the bottom. Leave out everything - years especially - except the names. This may not be the perfect answer. What we can advise you to do depends on how many details you give.
- I've been working on my family's genealogy for over 30 years and I can guarantee there is no direct way to access this information online. Even ancestry has only a few of them. Some of my ancestors were Catholic and the Catholic Church had some of their records. I wrote to them to get copies. I found only one record regarding one of my Protestant ancestors. If you know what Churches they attended I suggest you start there.
- As much as I don't like someone getting to the correct and reasonable answer sooner that I, Ted is correct on this one.
