How did you make your first million?

This is a question for successful people who work for others or business owners who in the past have earned their first million dollars. How did you do it? Please indicate any previous education that led you to the type of work or business that made you your first million, any help you received from friends or other business owners, I am curious to know the process of making your first million and why it worked for you. If you feel comfortable please also tell us what type of work or industry you are in and why you chose that type of work. Robbie, I was hoping that the rich retired millionaires would volunteer. And yes, with that much money, probably some of them would be online. If everyone was really poor would they be able to buy your product if they couldn't afford it? Damn right you want more people to have money, that way more of that money gets around. so share the wealth. Thanks for your answers.

You open a business to your satisfication, or create something, it can be anything, get it copyrighted , pattened, apply for small business license at the city, you can go online or go to a book store that can help you do all this, it's the 1st step that's the most difficult. 2nd, start making your product, 3RD, market it to small businesses, usually this is the 1st step, to show and ask people if they would buy it or sell it, after the fact it gets pattened, so no one else copy's you. 4th, start making it sell it create a few vendors, generate some money, expand repeat steps 1 thru 4
4. Specialise.... for example, all microwave cookers have a chip only made by Toshiba. Most digital watches have a chip that only Casio make. I manufacture something that goes into a piece of diagnostic hospital equipment, and I only make it !
5. This is easy! You run for President ! People will donate money to you because you promise to pad their pockets when you get elected. You spend the money on things that you really don't need ( so you can resale at a later date for cash ) You pad your own cam pane receipts so you can pocket some extra cash on the side. The only down side to this is YOU may get elected !
