What type of degree do you need to work in the Real Estate Industry and start your own real estate business?

I really want to start a real estate business but I don't know what degrees i need to have to make a successful and affordable lifestyle off of a business in the real estate business! Especially since I want to work with houses that cost over $900,000! For example would I need a business degree?

1. Technically you only need a brokers liscense, no degree. My university, however, offers a Real Estate Degree.
2. since you want to start your own bussiness you should go with a bussiness managment, and then you obviouslty proly know to get your real estate agent lisence so look into it hope i help select me for best answer =]
3. real estate classes ....... I know several people who all took a test to get there license . Call your local real estate offices , they can guide you in the right direction Or local college , counselors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My builder is having a hard time selling his homes . I told him he should just sell the homes he has , and NOT build anymore homes till the ecomony better. I think he finally took my advice . He's a good guy, very very helpful .
