Convincing parents for a Wii?

My brother and I want a Wii, but we both can't afford. Not even his successful job can lend him extra cash for a Wii. However, I never get allowance either, but only good pay once in a blue moon for my "job." It's approaching my graduation, but who knows if I will be able to get a graduation gift this year(going to a new grade/school type.) I might ask for a Wii if it isn't too much to ask for, but my parents usually hesitate when I asked long ago. My parents may plan on getting a Wii soon for family time(the Wii Sports) and I'm thrilled. My brother and I really have eyes on our games that we're willing to do a lot for and play. Possible to convince my parents for a Wii as a graduation present? I'm willing to pay them however I can(I happen to have professions that please them.)

  1. Well, i would say you should make an argument and present it in front of your parents. You know, show em your report card or become more responsible...help out around the house and stuff. Then when you feel the time is right go to them and NICELY ask your parents if you could finally get the Wii and that you asked long ago and patiently waited. Just go back and forth with them, mentioning how the Wii has many fun families games and is a unique expierience. But be courteous the whole time; soon enough your parents will allow you to; maybe not that night but a couple days later
