When you see a picture of a happy face, does it make you happy?

I read a study that said that lonely people don't feel that great when presented with a picture of a happy human face. But people who are -not- lonely feel good when they see a picture of a happy face. It was astounding to read this, because i don't have any reaction at all to pictures of smiling people, or people who are having a good time. Just wondering, when you see a person smiling (not necessarily at you) or having a good time, does it lift your spirits?

3. I think it makes me feel good inside knowing people are happy, but it does not always make me smile unless its really someone that I know. This is what I have noticed.
