What's the etiquette when someone wishes happy birthday prematurely?

My friend's parents posted a mushy happy birthday note on my Favebook page but my bday is a week away. It might be rude to point out but if I say thanks maybe all my contacts will think today is my real bday and I've posted a wrong date on my profile. What should I do? The date I entered is correct, he's wished prematurely.

1. You can like thank them but mention that there was a mistake when entring your Bday date and that you will fix it soon, I mean and try to fix it then...
2. Just post a reply saying "Thank You" and follow up with something like "I can't wait 'til (insert correct date) and I'm finally (insert age)" Because they may know that the note is early and just wanted to make sure that they didn't forget to tell you Happy Birthday. And if they did get the wrong date you've just given them the correct information without saying "you got it WRONG". And by the way... Happy Birthday! (next week)
