When someone wishes you a happy birthday on facebook....?
When people write little happy birthday messages to me on facebook, should I respond to each of them individually or simply put something for my status like "Thanks for the birthday wishes!" or whatever? And does it seem rude if I were to respond only to some of them? What do you think? Thanks!

- If you respond to one of them, respond to all. I would just put a status saying "Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! You made my day!" or something like that.
- One big general response is best. If someone had a really personalized greeting (like an inside joke or something), then you could reply to that one specifically. Otherwise just a "Thx all for the Bday wishes" is good enough.
- i do both, i say "thankss (:" (or a variation of it) to each person, i think that it shows you care that people take time out of their day to wish you on your special day. to my obvious closer friends i make it more personal maybe with an inside joke or something. then i do a "thanks for the birthday wishes everyone (L)"
- You could put it as your status, but most people usually comment or like all the birthday wishes as a way of saying thank you. And yeah, it's kinda rude to only reply to some. Either reply to none or reply to all. Please answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20101101191622AAcwoaW
