What traits are found in successful people? What traits are found in unsuccessful people?

1. Successful: 1) Proactivity - they don't let outside circumstances dictate their feelings 2) Curiosity - they investigate and keep an open mind on things than say 'no-one else knows' 3) Persistent - they don't give up after a few failures 4) Diligent - always practicing and anxious to please other people 5) Perpetual learning - they see life as being a learning curve to always improve on 6) Adaptable - they change with the times Unsuccessful 1) Reactive - they blame parents, politicians, the church, the weather etc for why they are miserable 2) Narrow-minded - refusing to experience new things for themselves 3) Yielding - after a few failed experiences they give up and go home early 4) Lazy - they expect and want everything to be done for them 5) Ignorant - after school they think that's the end of their education and they've got life sussed 6) Sticks in the mud - they won't adapt to change and constantly live in the past
2. Successful people are usually sincere, respectful of others, know their job and do it well and always give the job a little more of themselves than is expected. They do not bitch, gripe or complain or expect special considerations or favors. They are well groomed and dressed appropriately in clean well fitting clothes. They speak well without excessive slang (no ebonics) or cursing. They are adaptable and have an open mind to change.

Vocabulary is: I can't or not my job 6. Makes excuses for everything 7. Not willing to take risk 8. Dishonest sometimes 9. Greedy 10. Wants but won't give (takers) 11. Lacks common sense
