Success Happy

What do you believe is the true meaning of happiness?

like what do you personally think makes up happiness... success? attaining your goals? finding yourself? having a nice family? coming out of this world with much, much more knowledge than you came with? knowing that you'll be able to die without any regrets? I personally don't know what I think happiness is or what it revolves around or what it consists of...I guess I've experienced happiness, but is everyone's perception of happiness different from one another's?

  1. Having genuine optimism. When you're in a real state of nothing-can-go-wrong, that's when you truly feel happy.
  2. Whatever there is beyond Peace... Good luck!
  3. I do not know about everyones happiness but I found as long as I kept wanting this or that or had all of these dreams of my future and kept getting let down that I was unhappy. The day I woke up and said well you are not going to get what you want is the day I started being happy with my self and what I had in front of me. Happiness is within all of us, but it is how we choose to live it that is important on whether we will find true happiness or not. Take a person that loses everything they worked for in a tornado or something. They still have their loved ones and are just happy to be alive. So when it gets right down to it, we come into this world with nothing and we will go out of it with nothing so why worry and fret over material things or where we are going in our life. Do what we can and get ahead if we can but if it does not work out then just be happy we tried and face up to the fact that it just was not to be.
  4. i think the true meaning of happiness is knowing and accepting imperfection. when you realize that nothing and nobody is perfect, it just makes it seem like everything is exactly how it is supposed to be.
  5. true happiness comes from within and being content with who you are. a truely happy person can look at themselves and be content. nothing physical can ever bring you happiness these things are just a fictional happyness society has told us makes us happy.
  6. choosing to be content.
