Success Happy

Are we Christians able to live the abundant and successful life God desires for us?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AugJ.U__BegCKodc3TgXJ4Dty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20100828182150AAzfuHw I think the answerer was realistic and was able to recognize where she needed God the most... I say she's just like the widow who put in two cents. What do you think? How can we make this a reality in our lives? Thanks... *PLEASE SEE THE LINK, SO THAT YOU CAN SEE WHAT IS MEANT BY SUCCESSFUL* THANKS!

  1. Jesus wants you to sell your possessions and follow him. Leave the money and worldly happiness to the Atheists.
  2. None of us are successful. We all sin and mess up. We're not perfect but we can fulfill God's will and get as many people saved as possible.
  3. Aren't you humble...
  4. "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those thing which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them]."
  5. I think christian life is to live in the present. moment by moment.Humble and honest to see ourselves repent and believe and trust in the Lord for what cannot be removed from life. God wants us to be successful in this present moment. When my failure is taken to the Lord I am free. Cast all burdens upon the Lord. It is not perfection that the Lord seek in us. Humility and honesty.
  6. I liked her answer, and can only add that it is a life of diligently seeking God on a daily basis; because the devil walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. If we are seeking God's face in fellowship, and not just His hand in blessing us, We can be as successful as Abraham, David, or Paul. My favorite is Enoch; who I believe had developed a special relationship through daily fellowship; and after only 365 years ( only! ), God took him, because their relationship was special. It is good to have your needs met, but it is far better to have the one relationship that can never fail! :)
