What is a good samurai anime with a happy ending?

I have just recently watched Gurren Lagann and find myself heartbroken by the ending and cant seem to pick up another anime which can fill the space. I have already watched samurai champloo and Rurouni Kenshin (This was before GL) I really like happy endings which means they live happily ever after! I am not too picky if it isn't strictly samurai anything with action and happy endings are fine!

3. definitely the classic Rurouni Kenshin - you'll find the best happy ending where he manages to save the day and live happily ever with his girl.. you can stick with the happy ending if you dont watch Samurai X: Reflection.. even the original creator of RK didn't approve that latest OVA. Samurai Champloo - where Fuu finally knows what happen to her missing sunflower-scent-samurai father.. Samurai 7 - what please me is that at least Kambei survives! Kyo Samurai Deeper - but it is not as good as the original manga's happy ending.. because in the middle of the episodes, the story started to differ than the original manga.. i'd rather read the manga though.. Gintama - a parody anime with historical background and the Shinsengumi.. and you will be laughing happily all through the episodes.. ^_^
