How to write a letter to a Judge about erasing marriage records?

I need to write a letter to a judge regarding a marriage that has occurred. Special circumstances was in the way. One of the parties was under the influence and wants to request to erase the record(as if it never happened). How do you come about this in a letter to the judge to request such a thing? Tips, Examples, Suggestions would be very helpful thanks!

  1. What you are asking is not possible. The only option is to file for an annulment and hope you can prove your case. Otherwise, you have to file for divorce.
  2. The only way to do that is an anulment if ur friend or urself already did the divorce thing then ur screwed but either way u will never be able to fully erase the record! Once u signed those papers they will follow u that's the problem wit gettin married when ur drunk or high whichever it was!
  3. You don't write a letter to a judge. If you wre under the influence, you can petition for an annulment or divorce.
  4. You would need to get an annulment. That's the only way. I highly doubt that being under the influence will be a good enough reason though.
  5. Let your attorney write the letter because it is a matter of legal issues.
