Success Happy

What are my odds of living a successful life?

Physically i'm a mess, i'm strong in my arms and especially in my legs and i'm amazing at using my strength to my advantage, but i'm not good at sports especially football and soccer, i have huge feet for my age and hands, i'm overweight, almost Obese, i have maybe 3 or 4 ACTUAL friends, my parents are good people, nothing wrong with them, there's a bunch of diseases that run in my family but i only have one - Type 2 Diabetes. I'm very smart, IQ test showed 138 and i'm 13, my only strong subject is English, i have a creative mind but no one recognizes it, my drawing skills are somewhat better than others and i love to write fiction stories for fun. I'm lazy and a procrastinator which is a horrible combination, i have short term memory loss but u remember what i had for breakfast on my fourth birthday (better with long term memories) I hold grudges and i do get revenge, i'm shy but not too shy, i'm a really good friend and i can keep a secret, only girlfriend i had broke up with me because she called me too annoying which i can be at times but others i'm quiet and off in my "dream world" which is where i create a world that everything is just how i want it in my mind. i get off track very easily and i think differently than others, as in if someone tells me something most would understand in one way, i understand it in a way that most people wouldn't comprehend it. I have a dirty mind but not all the time. I like to joke around but i know when to be serious, i can make even people who hate me laugh and not at me. I'm a slow runner and i get exhausted easily but i like to run (not competitively) and i'm smart (said that) but i don't use it like i should, i currently have F's in all classes except Art. What are my odds of being a successful person when i grow up. i think of successful as a healthy life with a good job and friends who actually ARE my friends and a nice family

  1. Wow you sound like me :]
  2. - You make your own "odds". Strengthen your weaknesses, capitalize on your strengths, change what you can change, accept what you cannot change, and be kind to others.
  3. Books to read to be assertive, $35 Workout machine, $450 Living in America where success can come in every corner, priceless.
  4. You have a 100% chance of having a successful life if you want it badly enough to overcome what you can and manage the rest. I was much the same way as a teen. I was smart but didn't put forth the effort in my school work and have regretted it. The thing about it that I regret the most is that those horrible grades made me look stupid to those who did not know how intelligent I am and made me look lazy to those who knew the intelligence I possessed but did not use. 1. Make your success your priority. You have a problem with procrastination and so do I I, but if you prioritize the most important things and remind yourself that you can be lazy AFTER you get it done, then it helps. 2. Make your health your priority. Type II Diabetes does not doom you unless you don't control it. I know it is very difficult, but I know people who have worked hard to follow the guidelines, including exercise, and now they can eat more freely because they have their diabetes under control. 3. You say you have 3 or 4 friends who are ACTUALLY friends. You are more blessed than many people. It often appears that people have a whole bunch of friends, but in actuality, most of those people are not true, good, close friends and are more like acquaintances. Just be the best friend you can be to others and don't sweat the people who don't care to spend time with you. 4. If you like to run and are slow, it would do your body and your mind good to take up jogging. You can jog alone and use that time to go over what you've studied for tests, or create some great new fiction story. Or, you could jog with someone you know who jogs and get to know them better and perhaps make a friend. You can be successful...it is COMPLETELY up to you. People who have a good job, true friends, and a nice family have all of that because they chose to overcome every obstacle and learn from every mistake and do their best.
  5. Lose weight... be on weight watcher or jenny craig diet eat right Write a blog and make some videos about your "losing weight and no longer a diabetes" project... maybe you'll inspired many people like yourself. Get your friends to help you make video and stuff... and get an exercise trainer as well.
