Success Happy

Whats is more important, living a successful life or a happy life?

I was once told "The most successful person is the happiest person." I get that and all but hear me out. I always hear about how people struggle in life to actually truly be happy, How they struggle with school, family, money and other stuff like that. I'm 17 years old & I live in America, "The greatest country on earth". God has created such an amazing world & I am stuck in this country to go to an over priced place for 4 years and be thrown off the cliff into the world & pick a job that pays enough to support me & possibly a family. They make it sound so easy. MY DREAM: It is simply to live a happy life. "Life is short so live it up" how many times do you hear that but actually do it. Basically MY QUESTION IS... Should I skip college and all that other stuff to backpack the world and see God's amazing creations, to meet new people, hear stories, to do something that I will never regret and to say that I'm living my life to the fullest? Should I take the leap and do something outrageous to be truly happy? Or should I play it "safe". Go to college, 4 years, go in debt, try and find a job in this awful economy and try and support me and a family? (If also could you tell me about your past, what would you have changed if you could go back?) Thanks So much! 1. At the end of the day, sitting on a pile of cash, holding down an officie job, and being in a big house, are you satisfied? I hate people who force others to just try to live for success. Success is just proving yourself to others. Living a happy life is pursing what YOU want, not what the schmucks around you greedily think you should do.
  2. I know what you shouldn't do..... take advice from people who spend all day on here.
  3. Happy. don't do anything outrageous, but be your own person. college does not mean success. many people without college are successful, particularly in manual trades.
  4. truely and logically, successful life is good because success itself briongs happiness in man
  5. living a happy life. I want to be internally happy with myself.
