I am currently unemployed and looking for advice on career paths to look into. I am interested in going back to school to obtain an associates degree or even a certificate, though I am unsure of exactly what field or program would meet my requirements. My main issue is I have bipolar disorder as well as an anxiety disorder and these make it very difficult and stressful for me to work with people, particularly in retail or customer service areas, so I am trying to avoid something that involves a lot of that. I am looking for something that will allow me to work preferably on my own, in an environment that doesn't involve very high levels of stress, something that will provide a reasonable life/work balance, and something that I will be able to find long-term work in relatively anywhere. I already have a bachelor's degree in Fine Art, but I find jobs in this area are not very available, and are limited mostly to urban areas, basically not where I live. So far my most promising lead is medical record technician. I also have interests in animals, art, journalism and writing, I do not have very strong math skills. Really I am open to anything that could possibly fit what I have described so far. If anyone could contribute any advice or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!
