Couldn't it be just because we have a body, and a mind, and both combined is what makes our consciousness. Could our bodies be a metaphor for life? You see our bodies are what holds us to our wants, and our mind is completely free but restricted by our earthly/material desires. So in a sense what if reality was just two separate forces, Positive, and negative, waving together to create existence.. Which is a place of opposition. Like imagine reality, being the force of man, and woman, united in love to form life. Neutrality (=).. (+) ---(=)----(-). You see because we have two forces constantly at work, and fighting like opposites pulling from two different directions (spin), we have a completely different sense of reality, one geared by choice between what we deem bad or good.. We have the world of the mind, (-) completely free and unrestricted, and we have the world of the body, gravity ,restriction. but because they are working with each equally we get a balance. Life. Its like when a man and women love each they have a kid. the kid represents both aspects of the mother and the father. Even in thermodynamics we have the same concept playing out. We have 3 states of matter solids, liquid, and gases. When a molecule is experiencing to much pressure/heat, it escapes to higher form of reality. Solid, to liquid, to gas. Now sense every atom is organized by its protons, body (+), and its electrons (-) (that wave) mind, we too follow this same pattern of creation. I don't know what any of this necessarily entails but, it could either suggest the possibility of an afterlife free of restrictions, or the fact that love between opposite forces is what life is all about.
