Success Happy

What do you think is more important the money that you make or your happiness?

I am miserable in my current job and I have a new job offer that I will be happy in. My problem is that it is a pay cut to accept the happier job. So I was wondering what you all thought? How much is your happiness worth?

  1. I think you should take the job that you will be happy in...you will regret it later, you may have money, but money can't always buy happiness
  2. Money is important, but happiness counts more than that, if ur money cannot buy u happiness whats the use, at times u got to take decisions with ur heart and not with ur mind. I can understand ur situation. But everyone has a right to be happy , so why deprive urself. move on, u never know the happiness the other job will give might reflect in better productivity and can also result in pay hike..best of luck and move on
  3. You spend far too much of your life working to be unhappy. Go for the job you feel will make you happier. As a happier employee, you just may find yourself excelling and ending up with a raise! Always choose happiness. Good luck!
  4. I have worked in a job where I was very unhappy. I was lucky they closed down and I got a good redundancy payout. If they had not closed I would have left anyway. I am now a full-time Mum and I help at the local school as a volunteer. I have never had so little money but I have never been happier. You must do what is right for you but if the new job still pays the bills but you would be happier, I know what I would do. Good luck in the future in whatever your job will be.
  5. Better to get my hapiness than money, every job is good . We look for money in order toget hapiness. Satisfaction brinks hapiness, that's all what we look for.
  6. Well, bills are more important than money, because they are bigger than the resources. (just kidding) Also, you need not complain(as I once did) and start a new part time business as I am in. Now I am able to handle the bills.
  7. Evidently the money. I have had this job for ten years and I have mostly felt it was a grind. I have been exploring other work posibilities all that time. But it is hard to leave a place that pays well. I also know I am getting to the end of my limits and may be moving on soon. Some philosophy: the money can hold you for only so long, the happiness may hold you forever. (not tested) The grass is always greener over the septic tank (Erma Bombeck)
