  1. Its easy!!!! I've just started mine not to long ago and I already have beetles! Materials: -container, (I have the 3 shelve container from walmart for $10) -Wheat Brand (can get at a local feed store!) or u can use oat meal, personally i wouldn't use dirt. -Potato, Apple, or Carrot STeps: -Label container worms, pupae/alien, beetle -fill up worm container with wheat brand about 2inches in depth -Place Meal worms in worm container -Add slices of potato, apple, or carrot inside container -------Your DONE!-------- Once u see the pupae/aliens that's when i add wheat brand for the next container for the pupae, also add a potato, apple, or carrot slices, and place the pupae in its container. Do the same for the beetle! Note:Change out the slices of potato, apple, or carrot once its dried out or eaten. It will take about 7 weeks to make a cycle. Also the beetles will lay about 200-600 eggs. Keep the dead beetle until u see little worms, then u transfer the worms to its container. Then u keep the cycle going, Note about 10% or the worms will die. If ur wondering what the potato, apple, or carrot slices are for, well its for moisture. Keep u worm farm container in a warm place, to me the more heat, the better for moisture. Well that's all of it, hope I helped!!!!
  2. 1)Buy meal worms from a pet store, make sure their all alive. 2) Buy an amphibian or insect container, you can buy them at the dollar store or wal-mart. (i suggest you get a big container to have a more large and successful meal worm farm) 3) put dirt in the container (not fertilized, try get some from the pet store) 4) Add meal worms to the container filled with dirt! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Feeding... You can feed you're meal worms many, many things including Oranges, apples, potatoes, lettuce, cabbage, strawberries, blue berries, carrots, etc Note:Change out the slices of potato, apple, or carrot once its dried out or eaten.
