How do you balance your daily life?
I admire people who have 1+ jobs, go to school full-time, go to the gym, hang out with friends and do anything else that is fun. How do they balance their life with out getting stressed out? I currently just got a job and I would like to work there every day (after school, weekends). I also just got a 24hr gym membership. I am a full-time student. I still want to be able to have some time to just relax or study. How do they do it? any advice?

- why? can't you admire yourself for what you are? i just don't get those who look outward towards others for the answers to their being.
- I am in the 3rd month of a 12 month recuperation from a 5+ hour Major Surgery on my neck On October 1, to stabilize it. The Doctor Fused 5 vertebrae together with little screws and titanium tubes filled with some of my bone, now the bones must fuse. To balance my life for this situation was I had to learn to do nothing...
- I use mind maps, printing one out each week and coloring in areas with different colored highlighters to prioritize. You can find mind map apps on smart phones and mind map software online. Also I've used Franklin Planner / Franklin Covey materials for years, and those help, too. Pick up a book on this at the public library, " Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,by Stephen R. Covey.
- The key to doing it all is enjoy all you do! Focus on what you are doing in the present moment and enjoy the little pleasures it gives you. Then you will not get stressed out.
- Two pieces of advice I can offer: 1) Schedule things out. It's harder to get everything in if you just shoot from the hip. If you schedule or plan ahead, for the week, etc, know when you will go to school, then work, then gym, and when you have free time, etc. Schedule it out and try to stick to it, and try to build a stable routine. 2) Enjoy what you do. Most things are not pure enjoyment, but have good and bad in them (School is good because you learn, are evolving your mind, working towards something, but bad because it can be boring and/or stressful, etc). Find the good in what you do and focus on that. When working out, push yourself to go everyday for hte positive benefits. listen to music and make it enjoyable as possible. When at school, get yourself in a mindset where you are focused on the positive aspects so you enjoy the experience. If you start focusing on the bad, it will be much harder to stick with it.
